Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met Austrian Honorary Consul General Dr. Hussain Islam at Governor House to discuss Pakistan-Austria relations, trade, investment, economic cooperation and other matters of mutual interest.
Austrian artists Robert Pawlik and Michaela Rabitsch, Alhamd International Container Terminal CEO Tushna Patel, Principal Secretary to the Governor Sindh Dr. Syed Saif-ur-Rehman and other distinguished guests also attended the meeting.
The participants discussed opportunities to promote foreign investment and expand business activities in Karachi. Governor Sindh said Pakistan was committed to providing all possible facilities and cooperation to foreign investors and business representatives.
Speaking at the meeting, Hashmi said music knows no borders and can serve as a bridge between hearts and cultures. He said Pakistan represents a diverse blend of religions, languages and cultures, where people from different backgrounds live together in peace and harmony.

The governor said music could play an important role in promoting friendship, harmony and goodwill among nations and cultures.
Dr. Hussain Islam expressed a desire to further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Pakistan and Austria. He also stressed the need for additional initiatives to promote bilateral trade and investment.
Austrian artist Robert Pawlik praised the hospitality of the Pakistani people and said the warmth of the people and local cuisine had impressed him.
Michaela Rabitsch also appreciated Pakistan’s culture, hospitality and the warmth of its people. She described the visit as a memorable experience and expressed a desire to return to Pakistan.
