Sindh CM Joins Saudi Arabia’s 95th National Day Celebrations in Karachi

Karachi: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Monday attended a ceremony marking the 95th National Day of Saudi Arabia, held at a local hotel in Karachi.
The event was hosted by Saudi Consul General in Karachi, Muhammad Abdullah Saeed Al-Subaiey, and attended by senior civil and military officials, foreign diplomats, and prominent dignitaries. Among the guests were Karachi Corps Commander Lt Gen Owais Dastgir, Pakistan Navy’s KOMKAR Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi, UAE Consul General Bakhit Ateek Al-Rumaithi, Omani Consul General Abdul Samii Al-Khanjari, Bahraini Consul General Abdullah Ahmed, and Qatari Consul General Nayef Shaheen R.M. Al-Sulaiti.
On the occasion, Chief Minister Shah presented a bouquet to Consul General Al-Subaiey and extended congratulations on behalf of the government and people of Sindh as well as Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
In his address, Shah said Pakistan–Saudi Arabia ties are unique in the world, noting that the 1951 bilateral agreement had laid the foundation for a new era of relations. He highlighted the recently signed defence pact as a milestone for safeguarding the Muslim Ummah.
Reiterating his felicitations, Shah expressed hope that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia would continue to strengthen in the years ahead.
