Sri Lankan Envoy Extends Eid-ul-Fitr Greetings to Pakistan

Karachi: Sanjeewa Pattiwila, Consul General of Sri Lanka in Karachi, has extended warm greetings to the people and government of Pakistan on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his message, the envoy conveyed heartfelt felicitations to Pakistani citizens, government officials, members of the armed forces, and the diplomatic community, describing Eid as a time of spiritual reflection, compassion, and unity.
The Consul General expressed deep appreciation for Pakistan’s continued support to Sri Lanka during challenging times, terming it a reflection of a longstanding and resilient bilateral relationship.
He noted that the warmth and hospitality extended by the Pakistani people towards Sri Lankans have played a vital role in strengthening mutual respect and shared cultural ties between the two nations.
Sanjeewa Pattiwila also extended special Eid wishes to Sri Lankan professionals and students residing in Pakistan, acknowledging their role as ambassadors of their homeland and contributors to bilateral engagement.
Reflecting on the current global situation, the envoy expressed solidarity with those affected by conflict and hardship worldwide. He called for renewed efforts toward peace, reconciliation, and mutual understanding among nations.
He concluded by expressing hope that the blessings of Eid would inspire unity, stability, and collective well-being across the world.
