Rotary Club Karachi Intracity Hosts Event to Mark Defence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ

Karachi : Rotary Club Karachi Intracity organized a distinguished event to commemorate 6th September Defence Day and Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ. The program was led by Club President Nasim Shah and Secretary Muhammad Waseem.

The ceremony was graced by eminent personalities, including Mr. Jamal Akbar as Chief Guest, renowned poetess Ms. Naheed Azmi, Rais Khan, Saleem Khan, Madam Khalida Saleem, and Afaq Ahmed, whose presence added literary and cultural grace to the gathering.

The event also featured soulful recitations by celebrated Naat Khuwans, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.

In his address, President Nasim Shah paid rich tribute to the martyrs of the nation, recalling their supreme sacrifices on 6th September, while emphasizing the timeless guidance of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as a beacon for society. Secretary Muhammad Waseem highlighted that Rotary Club Karachi Intracity consistently organizes such meaningful programs to promote unity, spiritual reflection, and community service.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks to all distinguished guests, participants, and organizers, whose contributions made the program memorable and impactful.
