PNSC Hosts Inland Study Tour for PN Staff Course Participants

Karachi: The Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) organized an “Inland Study Tour” for participants of the 54th PN Staff Course and the 22nd Correspondence Staff Course on Thursday. The delegation, led by Rear Admiral Jawad Ahmed HI(M), Commander Central Punjab and Commandant of the Pakistan Navy War College, was given an overview of PNSC’s operations and contributions to the maritime sector.

PNSC’s Role in Strengthening Pakistan’s Maritime Sector

During the briefing, Executive Director of Special Projects & Planning, Mr. Khurrum Mirza, emphasized PNSC’s pivotal role in bolstering Pakistan’s maritime industry. He highlighted the corporation’s long-standing record of profitability, positioning it as one of the leading state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in Pakistan.

Future Growth Plans

Mr. Mirza also shared PNSC’s vision for growth, which includes plans to expand its fleet with the acquisition of new ships. This strategic expansion is expected to further enhance the corporation’s earnings and support Pakistan’s maritime ambitions.

The study tour underscored PNSC’s commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange with key stakeholders in the maritime and defense sectors.
