SpaceX Earnings will come into focus on Tuesday as Elon Musk’s company prepares to release its first quarterly results since its record-breaking initial public offering (IPO).

Markets expect SpaceX to report a quarterly loss despite strong revenue growth.
Analysts forecast a loss of $1.9 billion on revenue of $6.8 billion for the second quarter. However, the expected loss would mark a significant improvement from the previous quarter.
The company could also move closer to breaking even by the end of September.
SpaceX has rapidly expanded beyond its traditional rocket business.
Its AI division now includes the social platform X, the Grok chatbot and data centre leasing services. Analysts expect this segment to become the company’s largest source of revenue during the current quarter.
A major boost came from a deal with AI startup Anthropic, which reportedly pays $1.25 billion per month to use SpaceX’s Colossus data centre in Tennessee.
In addition, Google is expected to begin paying $920 million per month later this year for computing capacity. Reflection AI has also signed a similar agreement.
Rocket launches now generate only about one-fifth of SpaceX’s revenue and continue to operate at a loss.
Meanwhile, Starlink contributes more than half of the company’s revenue and remains its only consistently profitable business.
Investors will also closely monitor SpaceX’s spending plans.
The company continues to invest heavily in AI infrastructure and the development of its Starship rocket. Analysts expect high capital spending to continue for several years.
Furthermore, a post-IPO lockup period expires on Thursday, allowing more employees to sell their shares. The move could significantly increase the number of shares available in the market.
Analysts believe Elon Musk’s comments could have a greater impact than the earnings report itself.
Investors will watch for updates on capital spending, a reported $60 billion bid for AI startup Cursor, and speculation about a possible merger between SpaceX and Tesla.
