Karachi: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment, the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) has donated Rs. 6.7 million to The Citizens Foundation (TCF) to support education in coastal and underprivileged communities.
PNSC CEO Syed Jarar Haider Kazmi, alongside Executive Director (Commercial) Capt. Mustafa Kizilbash, presented the donation cheque to TCF CEO Mr. Zia Akhtar Abbas during a ceremony held at the TCF Abdullah Rakla Campus (Secondary Afternoon Section MC-3). The event was attended by members of PNSC’s CSR Committee and TCF management.
This strategic CSR initiative reinforces PNSC’s dedication to sustainable community development, particularly in areas like Machar Colony, where many fishing families reside. The contribution aims to enhance access to quality education for children in these marginalized communities.
Syed Jarar Haider Kazmi has played a pivotal role in driving PNSC’s CSR strategy, focusing on long-term social impact through education and welfare partnerships.
This collaboration underscores PNSC’s broader vision of empowering coastal communities through educational support and social upliftment.
