Pakistani CG in Dubai Urges Diaspora Support for Flood Victims at PIA Networking Event

Dubai: Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, attended a networking event organized by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and commended the contributions of the Pakistani community in the UAE, particularly in the Northern Emirates, towards the development and prosperity of both Pakistan and the host country.
The Consul General praised PIA for its vital role in serving overseas Pakistanis, highlighting its compassionate facilitation in transporting the deceased members of the community back to their homeland with dignity. He said such humanitarian services provide invaluable support to expatriates during times of grief.
Expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss of lives and widespread devastation caused by the recent floods in Pakistan, Hussain Muhammad appealed to the Pakistani diaspora in the UAE to extend all possible assistance to affected families.
The event was attended by Mr. Zeeshan Ahmed, Area Manager PIA Sharjah & Northern Emirates, along with prominent representatives from the travel and cargo sectors, corporate organizations, airlines, and the Pakistani community. Participants praised PIA’s initiative in providing a platform for social engagement and business networking.
PIA Sharjah also showcased details of its products, services, and loyalty programs tailored for the UAE corporate sector.
