Pakistan Showcases Food Industry Potential at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 in Dubai

Dubai: Pakistan’s participation at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 began on a high note as Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where the event is being held from November 4 to 6.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, along with Pakistani exhibitors and business representatives.

Promoting Pakistan’s food processing and packaging industry

The Consul General highlighted that 11 exhibitors from Pakistan are participating under the umbrella of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP). Of these, seven represent the food packaging and processing sector, while four belong to the food ingredients industry.

The participating companies are showcasing a broad portfolio of products and services, including food ingredients, processing and packaging solutions, printing, labelling, and supply chain technologies for the global food and beverage market.

Strengthening trade opportunities through innovation

H.E. Hussain Muhammad noted that with over 2,500 exhibitors from across the world, Gulfood Manufacturing serves as a premier platform promoting innovation, sustainability, and technological advancement in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. He emphasized that Dubai’s position as a regional and global trade hub provides Pakistani firms with an excellent opportunity to connect with international buyers, explore new markets, and expand their export footprint.

Support for Pakistani exhibitors

Trade and Investment Counsellor Ali Zeb Khan stated that the Commercial Section of the Consulate extended full facilitation and support to Pakistani exhibitors to ensure their effective participation at the event.

The Pakistan Pavilion’s presence at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 underscores the country’s growing focus on value-added food exports and its commitment to enhancing global competitiveness through innovation and quality.
