Islamabad: Algeria will host the 4th Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) from September 4 to 10, 2025, at the Palais des Expositions du Pins Maritimes in Algiers. Held under the theme “Gateway to New Opportunities,” the event aims to connect global companies with Africa’s vast market of over 1.4 billion people and a GDP exceeding $3.5 trillion.
The fair is expected to attract over 2,000 exhibitors from 140 countries and generate more than $44 billion in trade and investment deals.
The Algerian Embassy in Islamabad has officially invited Pakistani authorities, businesses, and economic stakeholders to take part in the landmark event. With Pakistan’s “Look Africa” and “Engaging Africa” initiatives launched in 2017 and 2019 respectively, IATF2025 offers a strategic platform to deepen trade and economic ties with African nations.
Algeria, the third-largest economy in Africa and a crucial gateway linking the continent with Europe and Asia, presents a strong entry point for Pakistani exports and partnerships.
Pakistan’s bilateral trade with Africa has shown upward momentum, rising from $4.6 billion in 2018-19 to over $5.6 billion recently. Participation in IATF2025 could open doors for Pakistani businesses to tap into new markets, forge B2B linkages, and support national economic growth objectives.
