Karachi: A distinguished delegation from the 38th Senior Management Course of the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Lahore, visited the Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) Southern Zone.

During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the current state of Pakistan’s leather industry, including its challenges, opportunities, and potential growth pathways. The session also featured constructive discussions on the sector’s role in Pakistan’s economy.

To mark the occasion, PTA representatives were presented with a shield of appreciation by Dr. Muhammad Farooq Adeel, Director Staff (Admin & Training), and Mr. Yasir Iqbal Butt, Director Staff at NIPA.

“Building such networks with our future leaders — who will serve as DIGs, Collectors, Commissioners, Secretaries, and other senior officials — is vital for the growth and betterment of Pakistan’s leather industry,” he remarked.

The visit was described as a memorable step toward strengthening collaboration between public sector leadership and Pakistan’s export-oriented leather industry.
