The prestigious Wajid Ali Shah Medal for Best Graduate (Class of 2024) was awarded to Dr. Manal Arshad Malik for her outstanding academic performance over the five-year MBBS program.

LNMC’s Commitment to Excellence Highlighted
In his welcome address, Principal LNMC Prof. Dr. Karimullah Makki congratulated the graduates and their families, underscoring the academic excellence of the institution. He revealed that LNMC has produced over 1,200 medical graduates to date, many of whom are serving in Pakistan and abroad.

He added that LNMC is recognized by several foreign medical regulatory bodies and is part of the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Visiting Students Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program as both a host and home institution. Dr. Makki praised the dedication of LNMC’s faculty and encouraged the graduates to pursue postgraduate education while remaining committed to serving humanity.

Message of Service from Liaquat National Hospital’s Medical Director
Medical Director of Liaquat National Hospital, Prof. Dr. Salman Faridi, congratulated the young doctors and shared an inspiring message. He reminded them that life’s true purpose lies in helping others rather than seeking material success.

“The real measure of your journey will be how many people you’ve helped, not the wealth you’ve acquired,” he said. He urged the graduates to uphold the highest ethical, moral, and professional standards, and to serve the nation and humanity with dedication and compassion.

JSMU Vice Chancellor Praises Graduates and Faculty
Prof. Dr. Amjad Siraj Memon, Vice Chancellor of JSMU, lauded the efforts of both the graduates and their parents. He also praised LNMC’s faculty for nurturing students with quality education and strong moral values. He stated that LNMC has consistently upheld high academic standards, and its achievements are a testament to the quality education being imparted.
