LHC Judges Judicial Commission Approves 10 New Appointments

LHC Judges were approved by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan after it cleared the appointment of 10 new judges to the Lahore High Court during a meeting chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi.

The commission also reviewed the confirmation of one Lahore High Court judge alongside the appointment of additional judges. A total of 24 candidates competed for the 10 vacant positions.

After detailed deliberations, the commission approved the appointments of Syed Farhad Ali Shah, Amjad Pervaiz, Asad Bajwa, Ghulam Sarwar Nihung, Shireen Imran, Usman Ghani, Rashid Cheema, Munawar Duggal, Ameer Ajam Malik, Khalid Ibn Aziz and Ajmal Khan as judges of the Lahore High Court.

The Judicial Commission reached its decision after evaluating the shortlisted candidates and finalised the appointments to strengthen the bench of the Lahore High Court.
