Karachi: The Karachi Christmas Market 2024, held at the Alliance Française de Karachi, turned into a vibrant celebration of the city’s diversity, inclusivity, and entrepreneurial energy. Organized by Media Republic, the event united locals, expats, and prominent figures to honor Karachi’s dynamic spirit.
Rear Admiral Mazhar Mahmood Malik inaugurated the event, commending its role in showcasing Karachi’s multiculturalism and innovation. He highlighted how such initiatives foster community unity and uplift Karachi’s reputation as a hub of resilience and creativity.
The event saw attendance from esteemed guests, including the US Consul General, Japanese Consul General, and social activists Luke Victor and Pastor Ghazala Shafique. Celebrities like Nida Yasir, Sanam Saeed, Noreen Gulwani, Sehar Afzal, Ayesha Tammy Haq, and Quaid Ahmed added glamour to the festive occasion.
A highlight of the day was a touching Christmas carol performance by children from the Bait-ul-Momineen Church. The children received goody bags from prominent figures like Ms. Sherry Rehman and Mr. Nadeem Hussain, along with gifts from Media Republic and Nayash Wellness.
Students from DeafReach schools showcased their artistic talents and hosted interactive pottery-making activities, creating a family-friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
