IRGC Claims Attacks on US Bases After Strait of Hormuz Tensions

IRGC Strikes Escalate Middle East Tensions

The IRGC strikes on US-linked military sites have sharply escalated tensions across the Middle East. The IRGC strikes reportedly targeted multiple American bases following ongoing regional military confrontations.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed the operations were retaliatory in nature. Officials said the action was a response to recent US military activity in the region.

IRGC Claims Attacks on US Bases

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it launched strikes on 21 US-linked military targets across the region. It claimed the attacks included bases in Jordan, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

According to its statement, long-range missiles hit facilities at the Al-Azraq base in Jordan. The group also said it targeted drone operations in Kuwait and Bahrain.

Jordan Air Defences Respond

The Jordanian military reported intercepting incoming missiles targeting the Al-Azraq area. It confirmed that air defence systems successfully neutralized several projectiles.

Authorities stated that falling debris caused no significant damage or casualties. This response followed the claimed IRGC strikes in the region.

Kuwait and Bahrain Security Alerts

Kuwait’s military said its air defence systems intercepted “hostile aerial targets” during the escalation. However, officials did not provide further operational details.

In Bahrain, warning sirens were activated as a precautionary measure. The developments followed reported IRGC strikes targeting regional US-linked facilities.

IRGC Claims Drone Attack Bahrain Fleet

The IRGC also claimed it launched a drone strike targeting the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain. It described the operation as part of its response to US military actions.

The group warned that further escalation would trigger a “crushing and decisive” response. The statement reinforced the intensity of ongoing IRGC strikes.

Abbas Araghchi Regional Diplomacy

Abbas Araghchi held discussions with regional counterparts including Saudi Arabia and Turkey. Talks reportedly focused on the latest escalation and ceasefire concerns.

He condemned US military actions and reaffirmed Iran’s right to self-defense. His remarks came amid increasing IRGC strikes and regional instability.

US Iran Military Confrontation

The United States confirmed conducting self-defense strikes against Iranian military targets. Officials said operations targeted radar and air defense systems.

The strikes followed claims of Iranian attacks on US military assets. This exchange intensified fears of broader regional escalation.

Strait of Hormuz Tensions Rise

The Strait of Hormuz remains a key flashpoint amid ongoing military activity. Both sides have warned of further retaliation if attacks continue.

The region has seen repeated military exchanges in recent days. The situation remains highly volatile following the reported IRGC strikes.

Iran Warns Further Response

Iranian officials warned that any further attacks would receive a strong response. They emphasized that foreign forces in the region face significant risks.

The statement highlighted continued readiness for escalation. Officials reiterated that diplomacy remains an option despite ongoing conflict dynamics.
