Gold Prices Rise in Pakistan as 24-Karat Rate Reaches Rs457,136

Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold rising by Rs400 per tola to reach Rs457,136, according to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs343 per 10 grams, reaching Rs391,920. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold rose by Rs315 per 10 grams to Rs359,273.

International gold prices were quoted at $4,346 per ounce, marking a $4 increase from the previous rate.

The latest movement in domestic gold prices comes as global bullion markets continue to be closely watched by investors amid changing economic conditions and expectations surrounding interest rates.

Silver prices also recorded gains in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver increased by Rs53 per tola to Rs6,924, while the rate for 24-karat silver per 10 grams climbed by Rs46 to Rs5,936.

Iran Hails Houthi Red Sea Advance as ‘Divine Triumph’

In the international market, silver was trading at $64.45 per ounce, up $0.53 from the previous rate.

According to the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, domestic gold rates are calculated using interbank exchange rates alongside international bullion prices.
