Gold prices in Pakistan continued to rise and posted good gains on Monday as international rates recovered from last week’s correction.
The price of one tola increased by Rs. 3,900 to Rs. 475,962, while 10 grams appreciated by Rs. 3,343 to Rs. 408,060, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Saturday, gold rose to Rs. 472,062 per tola after gaining Rs. 4,800 during the session.
The international market, meanwhile, saw gold prices increase by $39, bringing the rate to $4,532 per ounce, with an additional $20 premium.
Silver recovered after gaining Rs. 70 to settle at Rs. 7,524 per tola.
