KARACHI (Staff Reporter): European Sports Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at Green School System, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, in collaboration with Green Institute of Technology (GIT) and Jawan Champion.
Students from Montessori to Matric participated in a range of sports, physical exercises, PT sessions, fitness drills and other healthy activities. The programme featured cricket, fitness activities and various games, allowing students to demonstrate their sporting abilities while developing teamwork and discipline.

The event was also connected through Zoom with other schools associated with Jawan Champion across Karachi, providing students with a broader platform for participation and interaction.
Speaking at the event, Green School System Principal Samal Abro said a healthy mind develops in a healthy body. She stressed that regular exercise, fitness and participation in sports are important for students’ overall health and development.
She said sports and physical activities not only improve physical fitness but also help students develop discipline, confidence, teamwork and a positive attitude.

Syed Shah Zaib, Coordinator of Jawan Champion, appreciated the students’ enthusiastic participation and extended his cooperation and support for the successful organisation of the event.
Dr Abdul Rehman Jiskani, Executive Director of Green School System and Green Institute of Technology, congratulated the students on their participation and appreciated their performance.
He said Green institutions give equal importance to academic excellence, physical fitness, character building and the overall development of students. He also appreciated the principal, teachers, Jawan Champion and the organising team for promoting healthy and constructive activities among students.
