Defence Day Pakistan Faizan Rawat-Led Rally Draws Large Crowd in Karachi

A large Defence Day Pakistan rally led by business leader Faizan Rawat drew citizens from different parts of Karachi on September 6, according to the organisers.

The rally brought together members of the business community, young people, women, senior citizens and children. Participants waved national flags and chanted slogans including “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad”, expressing support for the country’s security and sovereignty.

Addressing the gathering, Faizan Rawat said there could be no compromise on Pakistan’s security and sovereignty. He said citizens were prepared to make sacrifices for the country and called for national unity in the face of any threat.

“Anyone who looks at Pakistan with hostile intentions will face a united response from the entire nation,” Rawat said, adding that the people of Pakistan stood alongside the armed forces in defending the country.

He said Karachi’s youth had demonstrated that political and social differences could be set aside when national security was at stake. According to Rawat, the participation of citizens reflected their commitment to Pakistan’s stability and security.

Women, children, senior citizens and young participants took part in the rally while carrying national flags. Organisers said the gathering aimed to reinforce a message of patriotism and national unity.

Rawat described Defence Day as more than a historical occasion, saying it serves as a reminder of the need for unity in protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty, freedom and security.

He also announced that the rally would conclude with a fireworks display. According to the organisers, the display was expected to be the largest in the history of District Central, forming part of the Defence Day celebrations.

The rally concluded with special prayers for Pakistan’s security, progress and prosperity. Participants again raised patriotic slogans and reaffirmed their commitment to national unity.
