Pakistan Cricket Board launches an inquiry into reports concerning player discipline and conduct.
The PCB inquiry follows media reports concerning the discipline and conduct of Pakistan cricket players, with the board saying it is reviewing the matter under its rules and regulations.
The Pakistan Cricket Board said all relevant individuals would have a full opportunity to present their positions during the inquiry. It also urged the public and other stakeholders not to treat speculation circulating on some platforms as credible information.
The board said it would not comment further at this stage on unverified reports or information related to the matter.
According to sources, the inquiry covers the decision to send several players back after the Lord’s Test, alleged disciplinary violations and the reported taking into custody of players’ mobile phones.
