Petaro (Jamshoro): Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced the installation of a 1.5MW solar power system to fully solarise Cadet College Petaro and approved two gross salaries as a bonus for the college staff. He made these announcements while addressing the 62nd Parents’ Day celebrations at the college.
The event was attended by district representatives Malik Asad Sikandar, Sikandar Shoro, Malik Sikandar, parents, and members of civil society in large numbers. Principal Commodore Faisal Iqbal Qazi SI(M) opened the ceremony by highlighting the college’s legacy, which includes producing prominent alumni such as President Asif Ali Zardari.
In his keynote address, CM Murad Ali Shah represented President Zardari, praising the institution as a center of excellence in education. He commended the college for its innovative teaching practices, disciplined environment, and exceptional contributions to leadership development.
“You are the future of Pakistan,” the Chief Minister told the cadets, encouraging them to pursue excellence and serve the nation with integrity. He lauded the college’s holistic approach to character building, ensuring success in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities.
