Karachi: The annual Bohemian Bazaar at Beach Luxury Hotel brought together community, creativity, and craftsmanship in a vibrant celebration ahead of Ramadan. Organized by The Crafter’s Guild, the event featured over 70 vendors, colorful crafts, children’s activities, and a diverse food selection at the Munch Market.
This year, 90% of participants were women-led businesses, reflecting the event’s commitment to empowering female entrepreneurs. Additionally, eight young creatives under 17 showcased their handcrafted goods in the Young Creatives segment, highlighting emerging talent in Pakistan’s artisan community.
The bazaar also included live cricket match screenings, adding to the festive, family-friendly atmosphere.
Visitors explored a wide range of handmade products, including home decor, accessories, natural skincare, stationery, fashion, and gifts. Traditional crafts and textiles attracted women shoppers, while unique stationery and personalized gifts captivated younger attendees.
Supporting local artisans, the event partnered with Kiran Foundation’s Empower Ten Program, which promotes digital literacy and craft skills for women in Lyari.
With 13 years of dedication to local craftsmanship, The Crafter’s Guild continues to advocate for ‘Made in Pakistan’ products, fostering inclusivity and creating economic opportunities for women entrepreneurs. The Bohemian Bazaar remains a vital platform for artisans, reinforcing the importance of sustainable, locally made products in Pakistan’s creative landscape.
