Balochistan Council Praises Pakistan’s Key Mediation Role Between US and Iran

BCFR Calls Pakistan a ‘Global Peacemaker’ Amid Regional Tensions

The Balochistan Council on Foreign Relations and Team Balochistan have applauded Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in mediating between the United States and Iran, calling the initiative a major contribution toward regional stability and global peace.

In a statement issued on Friday, BCFR Chairman Changgaiz Hussain Khan praised Pakistan’s leadership for playing what he described as a “pivotal role” in reducing tensions between Washington and Tehran.

Field Marshal Asim Munir’s Leadership Appreciated

The council specifically acknowledged the role of Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of Army Staff, for steering Pakistan’s strategic mediation efforts during the ongoing regional crisis.

The statement said Pakistan’s military and civilian leadership demonstrated “seamless coordination” in advancing diplomatic engagement aimed at de-escalation.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi was also commended for aligning internal security policies with broader foreign policy objectives.

Pakistan’s Diplomacy Gains International Attention

According to the BCFR, Pakistan’s mediation efforts have generated optimism among international observers, who view Islamabad’s involvement as a positive step toward restoring dialogue and reducing the risk of wider conflict in the Middle East.

Chairman Changgaiz Hussain Khan said Pakistan had emerged as “one of the most effective mediators in the world today.”

“The hard work of our leadership will be written in golden words in the history of global peace,” he stated.

Peace Linked to Regional Economic Stability

The statement concluded with Team Balochistan reaffirming support for Pakistan’s diplomatic mission and stressing that peace in the Middle East was directly linked to economic growth, trade opportunities, and security in Balochistan and across Pakistan.

The organization expressed hope that the ongoing diplomatic efforts would lead to lasting peace and stability in the region.
