Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi Held its 12th Convocation

KARACHI: The 12th Convocation Ceremony of Bahria University Health Sciences Campus Karachi (BUHSCK) was held on April 25, 2026. The ceremony was graced by distinguished personalities as Chief Guests, including the Honourable Rector Bahria University Vice Admiral Abid Hameed HI (M), and Vice Chancellor Dow University of Health Sciences, Professor Nazli Hussain.

The Honourable Rector of Bahria University, Vice Admiral Abid Hameed HI (M), during his address congratulated the graduating students on their academic achievements. He paid a profound tribute to the parents, acknowledging their unwavering support and sacrifices as the cornerstone of the students’ success and urged the graduates to uphold the highest standards of integrity and commit themselves to lifelong learning and service to humanity.

In her address, the Chief Guest, Professor Nazli Hussain, congratulated the graduates and their families on achieving a significant milestone. She encouraged the graduates to pursue their careers with curiosity, integrity, and dedication to the noble values instilled by their alma mater. She also appreciated the Pakistan Navy’s contributions to national development through education and acknowledged BUHSCK, supported by the clinical excellence of PNS Shifa, as a premier institution for medical training and research.

A total of 145 graduates were conferred degrees in various programmes, including MPhil, MBBS, BDS, DPT, BS Nursing, and MLT. Certificates of merit and medals were also awarded to position holders in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Director General BUHSCK, Vice Admiral (R) Ather Mukhtar HI (M), presented the convocation souvenirs to the Chief Guests. The ceremony was also attended by Dean, Directors, Senior officials from Pakistan Navy, Registrar Bahria University and notables from medical, dental and allied health sciences fraternity
