Ishaq Dar receives congratulations from Bahrain’s foreign minister on the Makkah defence agreement.
Bahrain Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani congratulated Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye.
Al Zayani conveyed his message during a telephone call with Dar last night. He also expressed his intention to visit Pakistan in the near future.

Dar welcomed the Bahraini foreign minister’s proposed visit and thanked him for his warm sentiments.
Meanwhile, Dar reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred means of promoting peace and stability.
He said Pakistan would continue supporting diplomatic efforts to strengthen regional peace and stability, as well as cooperation beyond the region.
The call comes after Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Türkiye signed the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement, marking a new development in their strategic and security cooperation.
