Arts Alumni Festival 2026 Concludes in Karachi with Cultural Tribute Marking First Anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq”

The three-day Arts Alumni Festival 2026 organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi concluded on a vibrant and celebratory note, featuring cultural performances and a special ceremony marking the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” with tributes paid to the Pakistan Armed Forces.

The closing day of the festival included a faculty talk session, theatre performances, dance showcases, and a musical night featuring alumni artists. A cake-cutting ceremony was also held to commemorate the occasion, blending artistic expression with national celebration.

Speaking at the event, Arts Council President Muhammad Ahmed Shah said the institution is actively training students in music, theatre, fine arts, and dance, aiming to prepare them for professional careers in the creative industry. He emphasized that Pakistan’s progress and achievements reflect national unity and resilience, adding that the armed forces have played a key role in strengthening the country’s defense and international standing.

He also paid tribute to martyrs and their families, describing their sacrifices as a source of inspiration for the nation.

The festival’s final day featured two theatre productions, “Peelay Scooter Wala Aadmi” and “Intezar,” along with the dance performance “Dance Rhythm of Life.” These performances explored themes ranging from human emotions and social realities to artistic expression, receiving strong appreciation from the audience.

The faculty talk session highlighted mentorship, creativity, and artistic identity, with instructors encouraging students to focus on practical skills and innovation alongside formal education.

In addition to performances, students participated in creative exhibitions, including board game design projects and community relief work initiatives, showcasing a blend of art, education, and social responsibility.

The festival concluded with a musical night featuring energetic performances by alumni, bringing the three-day cultural event to a festive and memorable close.
