KARACHI: Premium automotive brand MINI has officially entered the Pakistani market with the launch of its new all-electric model family, introducing a modern era of connected and sustainable mobility in the country.
The launch has been made possible through a partnership between BMW Group Middle East and Dewan Motors, the official importer of BMW Group vehicles in Pakistan since 2004.
The new electric portfolio includes the MINI Cooper Electric, MINI Aceman, and MINI Countryman Electric, all built on a next-generation technology platform designed to deliver zero-emission urban mobility with advanced digital integration.
The launch marks MINI’s first official entry into Pakistan, targeting the country’s evolving premium automotive market and growing demand for electric vehicles and connected mobility solutions.
At the heart of the lineup is the MINI Cooper Electric, which preserves the brand’s iconic compact styling and signature “go-kart feeling” while integrating a fully digital user experience powered by MINI Operating System 9 and a circular OLED display.
Positioned between the Cooper and Countryman, the MINI Aceman introduces a new electric crossover concept aimed at urban drivers seeking compact dimensions with versatile interior space and progressive styling.
Meanwhile, the MINI Countryman Electric expands the brand’s offering into the premium SUV segment with enhanced cabin space, long-distance capability, all-wheel drive options, and electrified performance.
Dennis Obermeier, Head of MINI Middle East, said Pakistan is showing increasing demand for design-focused, connected, and technologically advanced vehicles. He added that MINI’s electric lineup combines digital innovation with the brand’s signature driving dynamics in a modern format.
Dewan Motors Director Operations Zaeem Ul Haque described the launch as more than a product introduction, calling it a strategic step toward strengthening Pakistan’s premium automotive segment through long-term customer engagement and market development.
The launch also introduces BMW Group’s “Retail.Next” concept in Pakistan through an integrated BMW and MINI showroom in Karachi. The new customer-centric facility combines digital touchpoints, personalised consultation, and interactive retail experiences designed to redefine premium automotive retail standards in the country.
With its all-electric portfolio and strong focus on digital technology, MINI’s arrival signals a major step forward for Pakistan’s emerging electric vehicle landscape and premium urban mobility market.
