Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has wished Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim a speedy recovery as he undergoes medical examinations and procedures.

In a post on X, Shehbaz expressed solidarity with his Malaysian counterpart. He also said the people of Pakistan were praying for Anwar’s good health and well-being.
“May Allah SWT bless him with a speedy return to his duties,” the prime minister said.
Meanwhile, Malaysia’s state-run news agency Bernama reported that Anwar is undergoing medical examinations and procedures recommended by a team of specialists.
According to Anwar’s Senior Press Secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah, the Malaysian prime minister is expected to remain under medical observation for two days.
She urged people to pray for the procedures to proceed smoothly. She also expressed hope that Anwar would regain lasting good health and resume his official duties soon.
