Aligarh Institute of Technology Showcases Over 300 Student Projects at Annual Exhibition

Karachi: The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) hosted its annual Project Exhibition, turning the campus into a hub of innovation and academic excellence. Over 305 creative and practical projects were presented by students from 11 departments, drawing appreciation from industry professionals, academia, and tech enthusiasts.
Student Innovation Across 11 Departments
The exhibition featured outstanding projects from Civil, Architecture, Biomedical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Chemical, Software, CIT, and Artificial Intelligence departments. Visitors praised the ingenuity, practical relevance, and technical excellence displayed by the students.
NAVTTC Official Lauds Student Vision
The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Abdul Qadeer Sohoo, Deputy Director of NAVTTC, who expressed optimism about Pakistan’s future in technology. “These young minds, if supported continuously, can lay the foundation for the country’s technological progress,” he said.
AIT’s Commitment to Practical Education
Chairman of the AIT Governing Body and Chancellor of Sir Syed University, Mr. Muhammad Akbar Ali Khan, reiterated the institute’s mission to offer creative platforms to the youth. “AIT is dedicated to delivering modern education and enabling students to turn ideas into real-world solutions,” he noted.
Industry Collaboration and Opportunities
Distinguished guests, including Azmat Hafeez Shaikh (Additional Director Planning, STEVTA), other STEVTA officials, and industry representatives, praised the student work and explored avenues for industry-academia collaboration. They discussed internship and employment opportunities aligned with market needs.
Leadership Applauds Faculty and Students
Convener Syed Muhammad Mohsin Kazim highlighted the event’s success, attributing it to the dedication of both students and faculty. Principal Mr. Shahid Jamil added, “These exhibitions sharpen students’ technical skills and prepare them to face future industry challenges with confidence.”
