Aligarh Institute Hosts Seminar on Enterprise Networking for IT Students

Karachi: The Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at Aligarh Institute organized a seminar titled “Enterprise Networking,” focusing on the evolving field of computer networking. IT expert Farrukh Ahmed Nizami led the session, emphasizing the importance of international networking and the skills needed to thrive in a globalized industry.
The seminar featured notable attendees, including Farrukh Ahmed Nizami, Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and IT (DoCS&IT) Dr. Waleej Haider, CEP Coordinator Sobia Ashar, Dr. Nadeem, faculty members, and a large group of students. Farrukh Nizami, son of Sir Syed University’s founder and former chancellor Z.A. Nizami, has been a key figure in advancing Pakistan’s IT sector.
In his talk, Farrukh Nizami shared valuable insights on the latest developments in computer networking and market challenges. He highlighted the role of Sir Syed University and Aligarh Institute of Technology in promoting Sir Syed Ahmed Khan’s vision of higher education in Pakistan. He discussed the advanced computer labs at Sir Syed University, equipped to offer hands-on training in CISCO, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Computing.
Nizami also guided students on the global relevance of technical skills, stressing their importance in today’s competitive job market.
Concluding the seminar, Dr. Waleej Haider expressed gratitude to Farrukh Nizami for his expertise and presented him with a shield in appreciation. The institute awarded certificates to participants, further supporting their career development. Aligarh Institute reaffirmed its commitment to organizing similar events, ensuring students stay informed about cutting-edge computer technologies and their practical applications in the professional world.
