Abdul Jabbar Khan Conducts Surprise Visit to Kotri Wheat Warehouse

Karachi: Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh for Food, Abdul Jabbar Khan, conducted a surprise visit to the wheat warehouse in Kotri. During the visit, he emphasized the Sindh government’s proactive efforts to address the shortfall of bardana (jute bags) and ensure sufficient stock for the upcoming wheat season.
Abdul Jabbar Khan expressed his commitment to safeguarding wheat stocks from wastage and protecting both the government and farmers from financial losses. “I am personally taking action in the field to ensure the wheat is preserved and efficiently managed,” he stated.
Highlighting his priorities, Abdul Jabbar Khan declared, “Eradicating corruption from the department is my foremost goal.” He emphasized the importance of encouraging competent and conscientious officers while conducting raids at various warehouses to ensure accountability.
The minister meticulously inspected wheat samples and directed officials to maintain cleanliness in wheat storage facilities. He reiterated that negligence or complaints of misconduct would not be tolerated.
During his visit, Abdul Jabbar Khan also listened to the grievances of department employees and assured them of swift resolution to their issues.
