Pakistan all-rounder Arafat Minhas has achieved a significant milestone in One Day International (ODI) cricket after delivering a match-winning performance against England in the second match of the tri-nation series in Rawalpindi.
Batting first after England won the toss and elected to field, Pakistan posted 302 for nine in their allotted 50 overs. England struggled in response and were bowled out for 215 in the 39th over.
Minhas played a decisive role with both bat and ball, scoring 59 runs during Pakistan’s innings before claiming six wickets for 40 runs to dismantle England’s batting lineup.
Third Pakistani to Achieve the ODI Feat
With his performance, Minhas became the third Pakistani cricketer to score a half-century and take at least five wickets in the same ODI.
Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi achieved the feat three times, while former all-rounder Abdul Razzaq accomplished it once.

Afridi first registered the double against England in Lahore in 2000, scoring 61 runs and taking five wickets for 40 runs. He remains among the most prolific players to achieve the milestone, having completed it three times in ODIs.
Razzaq reached the same landmark against India in 2000, scoring 70 runs and taking five wickets in the match.
Minhas Delivers a Match-Winning Performance
Minhas’s contribution against England underlined his value as an all-rounder, combining a crucial half-century with a destructive bowling spell.
His six-wicket haul restricted England to 215, giving Pakistan a comprehensive victory after setting a target of 303.
The performance also placed Minhas among a select group of Pakistani cricketers who have made a major impact with both bat and ball in a single ODI.
