A group of Pakistani actors has joined a five-day humanitarian mission to Jordan to support Palestinians displaced from Gaza.
The delegation worked with UK-registered charity SKT Welfare during the September 29 to October 3 mission.
Actors on the trip included Jawed Sheikh, Khaled Anam, Saba Hamid, Shagufta Ejaz, Ally Khan, Kubra Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Ahmed Ali Akbar and Nabeel Zafar.
The group helped prepare and distribute more than 500 boxes of essential, non-perishable food items to Gazan refugee families.
They also visited Palestinian patients and their families who are receiving medical treatment in Jordan.
Support for Gazan Families
Khaled Anam shared photographs and videos from the mission on Instagram.
He said many families receiving assistance included children injured during the conflict.

Others were undergoing treatment for serious illnesses, including cancer and heart conditions.
Anam said the delegation helped pack and personally deliver food ration boxes to more than 500 Gazan refugee families.
He described the mission as an opportunity to listen to Palestinians, offer comfort and show solidarity with families affected by the conflict.
The actors also spent time with patients and their families during their stay in Jordan.
Afternoon for Children Undergoing Cancer Treatment
One of the mission’s activities focused on children undergoing cancer treatment.
SKT Welfare arranged games, activities and a hot meal for the children.
The programme gave them an opportunity to spend time away from the pressures of medical treatment and displacement.
The delegation joined the children during the activities and interacted with their families.
Support for Palestinian Patients
SKT Welfare also provides longer-term assistance to Palestinians who travel to Jordan for medical treatment.
The charity provides accommodation, meals and transportation for patients and their families.
The support helps patients travel to hospitals and attend essential medical appointments while receiving treatment away from Gaza.
The organisation says its wider humanitarian operations also support communities inside Gaza.
Actors Share Mission Online
Saba Hamid, Nabeel Zafar and Shagufta Ejaz also shared photographs from the mission on their Instagram accounts.
Their posts showed the delegation distributing aid and spending time with Palestinian families.
The actors also documented their experiences in Jordan and their interactions with children receiving treatment.
The mission comes as Palestinian patients and their families continue to face displacement while seeking medical care outside Gaza.
The actors’ posts have given their followers a closer look at the humanitarian effort and the families supported during the visit.
