SEOUL: BTS has sparked fresh excitement among fans with a new BE@RBRICK collaboration linked to its ongoing ARIRANG era.
The group teased the project on October 5 through a 27-second video. The clip showed seven stylized BE@RBRICK figures representing the members. More details were promised for the following day.
The figures feature the names and birth years of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The lineup reflects BTS’ return as a complete seven-member group following the members’ mandatory military service.
The teaser uses a dark and smoky visual setting. It has already prompted fans to speculate about the figures, their designs and their role in the ARIRANG era.
A New Collectible Chapter
The collaboration brings BTS further into the world of collectible culture. BE@RBRICK figures are widely known for collaborations with major entertainment, fashion and lifestyle brands.
BTS has also worked with BE@RBRICK before. Earlier releases have become sought-after items among collectors.
The new project combines BTS’ music identity with fashion and collectible culture. It also adds another visual element to the group’s large-scale comeback campaign.
ARIRANG Tour Sets Major Record
The BE@RBRICK announcement comes as BTS continues its highly successful ARIRANG World Tour.
The tour has already surpassed $500 million in cumulative ticket sales, according to Billboard Boxscore data. BTS became the first pop group to reach that figure with a single tour. It is also only the seventh group overall to cross the milestone.
The six groups that previously reached the $500 million mark were all rock acts. BTS therefore became the first pop group to enter the milestone’s group category.
In August alone, BTS generated $171.7 million from 12 concerts. The shows attracted about 800,000 fans and placed the group at No. 1 on Billboard’s monthly Top Tours chart.
Billboard also projected that the tour could eventually reach $1 billion in cumulative revenue, with around 40 shows still scheduled at the time of its report.
Fans Await More Details
The BE@RBRICK collaboration has added another layer to the BTS comeback story.
Fans are now waiting for details about the figures, including their designs, formats and release plans. The project gives the ARIRANG era another presence beyond music and live performances.
With the group continuing its global tour, the collectible collaboration highlights how BTS is expanding its comeback into fashion, merchandise and pop culture.
The upcoming release could give fans another way to connect with the group’s new visual identity as the ARIRANG era continues.
