ISLAMABAD: Muhammad Mahad Arif of Calcix International has won a prize of Rs1 million after presenting an innovative idea to replace conventional plastic with limestone-based alternatives on the Perfect Pitch TV programme aired on HUM News under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme.
Mahad Arif presented his concept as a potential solution to the growing environmental challenges associated with plastic use. His idea focuses on using limestone as an alternative material for developing products that could reduce reliance on conventional plastics.
The presentation was made during Perfect Pitch, a platform associated with the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme that provides young entrepreneurs and innovators with an opportunity to present their business ideas and seek support.
