KARACHI: Government Boys Secondary School (GBSS) Tameer-e-Nau, Nazimabad No. 4 Campus, has inaugurated a new Computer Science Lab to strengthen technology education and provide students with access to modern digital learning facilities.
The school administration said the laboratory was established with the support of MPA Syed Adil Askari, who donated modern computers to the institution.
Speaking on the occasion, the school administration described computer education as an essential part of learning in an increasingly technology-driven world. It said students had lacked access to adequate computer facilities for an extended period and that the new laboratory would help address that gap.
The facility is expected to provide students with practical exposure to computers, coding, programming and other digital skills. The school said the initiative could also help students prepare for future educational and employment opportunities, including work in the digital economy.
The administration expressed gratitude to Syed Adil Askari for supporting the establishment of the laboratory and said the contribution would have a lasting impact on students.
“We have not just received computers; our children have been given hope and an opportunity to prepare for a better future,” the school administration said.
The school also assured that the laboratory would be properly maintained and used primarily to enhance students’ educational and technological skills.
