The KSE-100 Index showed a volatile trend on Monday, gaining more than 400 points in early trading before slipping into negative territory during the session.
The benchmark index initially climbed to 175,409 points, signalling a positive start to the first trading day of the week.
However, buying momentum weakened as the session progressed, pushing the index into the negative zone.
The latest movement came after the KSE-100 gained 153 points in the previous trading session to close at 174,929 points.
