KARACHI, August 24, 2026: Tasdeeq Information Services Limited has joined the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) as the 11th listing of calendar year 2026, following a highly subscribed initial public offering.

The listing ceremony took place at the PSX Trading Hall and marked the admission of South Asia’s first publicly listed credit bureau.

The transaction covered 219 million ordinary shares. Pre-IPO investors acquired 69 million shares at PKR 2.35 each, while the company offered 150 million shares through the IPO at a strike price of PKR 3. The total transaction value stood at approximately PKR 612 million.

The retail portion drew exceptional demand and was oversubscribed 21.68 times. A total of 11,358 applications generated participation worth PKR 2.4 billion.

PSX Managing Director and CEO Farrukh H. Sabzwari welcomed Tasdeeq to the Exchange. He said the listing represented the 11th of the calendar year and the third of the current fiscal year, reflecting continued momentum in Pakistan’s capital markets.

Sabzwari also highlighted the expanding investor base, saying investor accounts had crossed 600,000. He attributed the growth partly to increasing participation from Millennials and Gen Z through awareness initiatives and digital platforms.

He said the strong response to Tasdeeq’s IPO demonstrated continued investor interest in innovative businesses and the long-term growth potential of Pakistan’s capital markets.

Tasdeeq’s chairman and board reaffirmed the company’s commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s credit information infrastructure. The company also aims to support responsible lending by banks, microfinance institutions and digital lenders.

Tasdeeq CEO Mumtaz Hussain thanked investors for their support and outlined plans to expand the company’s business-to-consumer (B2C) services.

Mohammed Sohail, CEO of Topline Securities, which served as consultant to the issue, said strong retail demand prompted the company to increase the retail allocation from 25% to 35%.

According to Sohail, the increase marked the first such move in Pakistan’s IPO history.
