KARACHI: The Annual Prize Distribution and Certificate Award Ceremony was held at Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan School in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, celebrating student achievements and highlighting the importance of quality education and youth development.
The chief guest on the occasion was renowned educationist and former bureaucrat Syed Tariq Shamim, who urged students to carry forward the vision of Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and contribute positively to national development.
Addressing the ceremony, Tariq Shamim paid tribute to Pakistan’s prominent scientist and national hero Abdul Qadeer Khan, stating that his legacy extended beyond national defence to include a strong commitment to education and youth empowerment.
He said that institutions named after Dr. A.Q. Khan represent his vision of providing equal educational opportunities to all children. He also appreciated the school administration for its efforts in promoting academic excellence and nurturing young talent.
The guest speaker emphasized that the progress and prosperity of any nation depend on quality education and proper guidance of the younger generation. He encouraged students to remain focused on their studies and actively participate in co-curricular activities.
