Karachi: The 2025 Aurora Tech Award has officially opened for applications, inviting women tech entrepreneurs from across the globe to showcase their innovations. This prestigious award, established in 2020, aims to recognize and empower women founders of IT startups, driving forward cutting-edge solutions and breaking barriers in the tech industry.
This year’s award offers expanded opportunities, increased financial support, and a strengthened commitment to nurturing the next generation of women tech leaders. Some key updates include:
The prize pool has been significantly boosted to better support women innovators:
The evaluation process has been refined into three stages: longlist, midlist, and shortlist. From an initial pool, 100 participants will move to a pitching round, with 15 advancing to the final stage.
Shortlisted participants will benefit from a 2 to 2.5-month mentoring program with leading industry experts, offering critical insights to refine their projects and enhance their business strategies.
