Russia Announced to Train Pakistani Rowing Players
Russian Consul General expressed his
commitment to providing full support
for the development of rowing in Pakistan

Karachi: Russia has announced plans to train Pakistani rowing players to boost the sport in the country. Russian Consul General Andrey Federov pledged full support for developing rowing during a ceremony honoring the athletes.
“There is no shortage of talent in Pakistan,” Federov said. “We will invite Russian coaches to train local players.” He also mentioned that the Russian rowing team will compete in the Karachi Boat Club’s annual inter-school regatta.
Federov further revealed that Pakistani rowers will visit Russia next year for additional training and experience exchange.
At the end of the event, Captain of Boats Arif Ikram presented a commemorative shield to the Russian Consul General.
