Voice of Youth: Barrister Mujtaba Sumsum Reaffirms Support for Pakistan’s Armed Forces

KARACHI: Voice of Youth Chairman Barrister Mujtaba Sumsum has expressed support for recent remarks by the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), saying Pakistan’s youth remain confident about the country’s future and committed to national progress.

In a statement issued to the media, Barrister Mujtaba Sumsum said Pakistan’s younger generation cannot be misled or driven into despair. He stated that despite facing challenges over the years, the country is moving towards greater stability, development and prosperity.

He said the organisation’s guiding principle is “Pakistan First” and stressed that young people stand with national institutions that work for the country’s security and development. He added that the youth would continue to contribute to strengthening national unity, stability and economic growth.

Barrister Mujtaba Sumsum also said Pakistan had achieved important diplomatic progress under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff and the military leadership, adding that the country’s patriotic youth would safeguard Pakistan’s national interests and international standing.

He welcomed the government’s focus on good governance, institutional reforms and increased youth participation in the nation-building process. According to the statement, empowering young people remains essential for Pakistan’s long-term development and stability.

Highlighting the priorities of the younger generation, he said today’s youth are moving beyond personal, political and group interests in favour of a shared national vision. He said they seek a stronger and more prosperous Pakistan built on merit, justice, good governance and the rule of law.

Barrister Mujtaba Sumsum reaffirmed that Voice of Youth would continue to support constructive initiatives aimed at promoting Pakistan’s progress, security, stability and prosperity while standing alongside the country’s state institutions.
