Vietnam Envoy Seeks Stronger Trade Ties with KCCI
Ambassador expressed Vietnam’s keen
interest in developing stronger
economic partnerships with Pakistan

Karachi: Pham Anh Tuan, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, along with Ms. Nguyen Thi Diep Ha, Head of the Vietnam Trade Mission, visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) to explore opportunities for strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties.
The Vietnamese delegation was warmly welcomed by Senior Vice President KCCI Zia Ul Arfeen and Vice President KCCI Faisal Khalil Ahmed. The meeting was also attended by Former President KCCI Majyd Aziz, Former Senior Vice President Arshad Islam, Former Vice President Nasir Mehmood, and members of the KCCI Managing Committee.
Ambassador Pham Anh Tuan highlighted Vietnam’s dynamic business environment and emphasized the importance of enhancing institutional cooperation between the Karachi Chamber and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He expressed Vietnam’s keen interest in developing stronger economic partnerships with Pakistan, particularly through increased trade and joint ventures.
Vice President KCCI Faisal Khalil Ahmed delivered the vote of thanks, underscoring the significance of mutual delegation visits, participation in trade fairs and exhibitions, and identification of high-potential products to accelerate bilateral trade growth.
