Naudero: A delegation from the United States Embassy in Pakistan, led by Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker, met Pakistan Peoples Party Women Wing President Faryal Talpur on Wednesday to discuss issues of mutual interest, including political engagement, social development and economic cooperation.
The US delegation included Peter McSharry, Chief of the Political-Economic Section at the US Consulate General in Karachi, and political analyst Sanam Noor.


According to a statement, the meeting focused on strengthening dialogue and enhancing cooperation on key political, social and economic matters. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to sustained engagement and constructive collaboration in areas of shared priority.
Following the meeting, the US embassy delegation visited the Mausoleum of Martyrs at Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto, where they paid homage to Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, acknowledging their contributions to democracy and constitutional supremacy in Pakistan.

Senior Pakistan Peoples Party leaders present on the occasion included PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, MNAs Aijaz Jakhrani, Khurshid Ahmed Junejo and Nazeer Ahmed Bughio, MPAs Sohail Anwar Siyal, Nida Khuhro and Qasim Soomro, along with District Council Chairman Aijaz Ahmed Leghari, Asadullah Khuhro and Ahmed Farooqi.
The visit underscored continued diplomatic engagement between the United States and Pakistan, with an emphasis on political dialogue, democratic values and people-to-people ties.
