Two women were killed and two others sustained critical injuries in a road accident near the M2 Motorway in Kot Momin on Friday night, according to rescue officials.

The accident occurred near the M2 Motorway when an overspeeding SUV rammed into the rear of a truck.
The impact killed two women at the scene, while two other passengers suffered serious injuries.
Rescue teams and SP Motorway Police Faisal Akram reached the accident site soon after the crash.
Rescuers shifted the bodies and the injured to a nearby hospital. According to rescue officials, the injured remain in critical condition.
Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
Officials said they are examining all aspects of the crash, including whether overspeeding was the primary factor.
