Security forces have killed two militants during an intelligence-based operation in the Jausak area of Turbat district in Balochistan, according to security sources.
The operation was conducted after security personnel received intelligence about the presence of suspected militants in the area. The action was carried out under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad 3, the sources said.
An exchange of fire took place between security forces and members of Fitna al-Hindustan, resulting in the deaths of two militants, according to the sources.
Security personnel are continuing efforts to locate militants who fled the area following the encounter. Search, clearance and sanitisation operations are also under way, the sources said.
