Thailand CG Promotes Tourism at Pakistan Travel Mart 2025

tourism’s significant role in the country’s economy

Karachi: Surashete Boontinand, the Consul General of Thailand, expressed his hope for increased tourism from Pakistan to Thailand, a country renowned for its natural beauty. He also encouraged Thai citizens to visit Pakistan, emphasizing the diverse sightseeing opportunities the country offers.

Boontinand made these remarks during his visit to the stall of Legend Hotels & Resorts Pavilion at the three-day Pakistan Travel Mart 2025. The event was attended by notable figures including Azeem Qureshi, MD of Legend Hotels & Resorts; Arif Suleman, Chairman of the Pak-Thai Culture and Business Forum; Rashid Siddiqui, Director of Marketing at Thai Airways; Mobin Ansari from the Thai Consulate, and other distinguished officials. The Consul General also inaugurated the stall.

Boontinand highlighted Thailand’s reputation as a welcoming destination for tourists and reiterated that tourism plays a significant role in the country’s economy. “We will continue to cooperate with Pakistan in the field of tourism,” he stated, further strengthening ties between the two nations in the tourism sector.
