Karachi: Sindh Senior Minister Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has underscored the urgent need for sustainable and innovative solutions to address Pakistan’s growing energy crisis. Speaking at the launch of Aston Energy’s new product, Mavericks 2.0, in Karachi, he praised the company’s efforts to promote renewable energy and local innovation.
The event, held at a local hotel, was attended by MNA Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig, veteran actor Javed Sheikh, diplomats, business leaders, industrialists, and members of Karachi’s elite.
Aston Energy CEO Abdul Rehman said the company has established itself as one of Pakistan’s leading and most reliable solar firms, engaged in manufacturing, import, trading, and installation of solar systems across the country.
He added that the company has successfully deployed solar solutions in industrial, commercial, and residential sectors — including mosques, hospitals, schools, and universities — with a vision to make clean, affordable energy accessible to all.
Rehman introduced the Mavericks 2.0, a next-generation lithium battery developed to enhance solar energy efficiency and reliability. “This innovation reflects our mission to ensure uninterrupted and long-lasting energy for Pakistani consumers,” he said.
Nasir Shah lauded the initiative, noting that companies like Aston Energy are contributing to Pakistan’s transition toward sustainable and self-reliant energy systems.
