SBC Group Hosts Dinner in Honor of KP Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in Karachi

Karachi: The SBC Group of Companies hosted an exclusive dinner and Qawwali Mehfil in honor of Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi, bringing together prominent figures from Pakistan’s political, business, and diplomatic circles.
The gathering was attended by Barrister Murtaza Wahab, Mayor of Karachi; Shabbar Zaidi, former Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR); Senator Khushbakht Shujaat; MNA Asad Alam Niazi; MPA Bilal Jadoon; MPA Asif Khan; as well as senior executives including the President and Deputy CEO of Sindh Bank, CEO of Jubilee General Insurance, Vice Chairman of EFU Insurance, and Mr. Asad Ali Shah, former Partner at Deloitte.
Other notable guests included Ahmed Chinoy, former CPLC chief; former IG Sultan Ali Khawaja; Nadir Gabool, Spokesperson to the Sindh Government; and the Honorary Consuls General of Ivory Coast and Tajikistan, alongside leading bankers, financial experts, and members of the business community.
In his address, Ali Pesnani, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of SBC Group, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to enhancing Pakistan’s seafood exports and contributing to foreign exchange growth.
During the ceremony, Chairman Zahair Pesnani, Co-Chairman Khalid Tanveer, CEO Zaheer Hassan Ali, and Vice Chairman Ali Pesnani presented a token of appreciation to Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in recognition of his presence and support.
Known as one of Pakistan’s largest companies in the seafood processing and fisheries sector, SBC Group also operates in the microfinance industry, playing a key role in both economic development and employment generation.
