Saudi Cabinet Kingdom Calls for Iran-US Negotiations to End Conflict

Saudi Cabinet has called for negotiations to end the Iran-US conflict, stressing that dialogue remains the best path to restoring regional stability.

The cabinet made the appeal during a meeting chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. During the session, members emphasised the need to reduce tensions across the Middle East.

Call for Diplomacy

According to Saudi media, the cabinet said negotiations are essential to resolving the Iran-US conflict.

Furthermore, it urged all parties to pursue peaceful solutions and avoid further escalation in the region.

Support for Gaza Peace Agreement

The cabinet also welcomed what it described as the historic agreement to end hostilities in Gaza.

In addition, it praised the mediation efforts of Egypt, Qatar, Türkiye, the United States and other countries that helped secure the agreement.

Maritime Security Reaffirmed

Meanwhile, the cabinet welcomed the establishment of the Saudi-led multinational maritime defence alliance.

Moreover, it reaffirmed Saudi Arabia’s commitment to protecting maritime navigation in the Red Sea, the Bab al-Mandab Strait and the Gulf of Aden.

The cabinet said safeguarding these strategic waterways remains a key priority for regional security and international trade.
